Krisp sits between the agent’s headset and softphone, filtering background noise and converting accents in real time. Operata works with Krisp locally to see the physical headset behind Krisp’s virtual device, plus whether noise cancellation or accent conversion were active on each call. In-call state is also captured, with changes updated in real time. When an agent reports an audio issue, you know whether Krisp’s processing was involved.

Before you start

  • Operata Agent Collector browser extension v1.9.6 or later.
  • Krisp Desktop v2.71.9 or later (Windows and macOS).
  • The Krisp integration must be enabled at your account level by Krisp before Operata can collect any data. Contact your Krisp account manager or raise a Krisp support ticket requesting that they enable collection of Krisp output and processing information by Operata.
There is no browser version requirement. The integration connects directly to Krisp Desktop, not the browser.

Verify

Open the Headset Inventory page in Operata. Each agent row shows the physical headset, whether Krisp is running, and which features were active. Headset Inventory page showing an agent row with NC and AC indicators for noise cancellation and accent conversion NC means noise cancellation was on. AC means accent conversion was on.

Updates

Krisp updates are delivered through the standard Krisp auto-update or manual update flow. No action required on your end.

Troubleshooting

If Headset Inventory shows no Krisp data for an agent:
  • Confirm the Agent Collector extension is v1.9.6 or later.
  • Confirm Krisp Desktop is v2.71.9 or later.
  • Confirm Krisp was running before the agent took the call, not started mid-call.
  • Confirm the Krisp account-level integration has been enabled. If unsure, check with your Krisp account manager.
  • If none of the above have resolved the issue, we are happy to help. Reach out to us at support@operata.com.
