Single Sign On (SSO)

📘

Operata supports SAML2.0 only. For custom connections please contact your customer success manager.

Step 1: Contact Operata

The first step is to contact us and we will work with you to enable SSO in both your Production and Development/Test accounts if needed.

Step 2: Create an Application Within Your IdP

Create a SAML 2.0 application within your Identity Provider (IdP), download the metadata XML (if supported) and send it to Operata. If your IdP provider does not support XML export, please provide the following information to Operata:

  • Sign-in URL
  • X509 Signing Certificate (encoded in PEM or CER format)
  • The email domains that will be used for SSO (there may be more than one)

Step 3: Operata Metadata

Operata will create an SSO connector for your organization. The metadata XML will be sent to you after this step and will contain all the information needed to update your SAML 2.0 application in your IdP.

Step 4: Operata Enablement and Testing

Operata will update our IdP to redirect Operata users to the Customer SSO. We will organize a joint call to coordinate and test this implementation.
